Morrisville State College adds Third Straight to its stallion roster

MORRISVILLE, NY— Morrisville State College has added former World Champion Third Straight p, 3, 1:53.3s, 3, 1:50.1f ($321,662) to its stallion roster.

Third Straight is in the top 10 in Leading Sires Average Earnings per foal for 2015; among two-year olds he is 6th, and three-year olds he is 10th.

As a two-year-old, Third Straight held his own against the likes of Mach Three and Western Shooter, finishing second in the Breeders Crown elim (fifth in final), Bluegrass and third in Champlain and Governor’s Cup elim and final. At three he was a PaSS winner, was second in Adios elim and finished third in Meadowlands Pace Cons. He is a multiple stakes winner as an aged performer. 

From limited opportunity as a sire to date, he has sired Itrustyou p, 1:48.2f ($748,129), Dark Alley Sally p, 4, 1:52.4s ($467,515), and Straight Dancer p, 1:54.2s ($305,886), among others. 

Third Straight’s dam is the $296,000 winner Terrie Letsgo p, 3, 1:53.1, who has also produced Tremor Hanover p, 1:51f ($585,877).
