Morrisville State College Children's Center sponsors fourth annual ChildRUN

Race your way to the finish line at the Morrisville State College Children's Center's fourth annual 5k race for ChildRUN Saturday, July 14. Also, a Fun Run that consists of one mile will be available for younger children along with their family and friends.



Registration for the race begins at 8 a.m. The race will start at 8:30 a.m. at Bailey Hall, which is located on Route 20 in Morrisville. The runner entry fee is $20, $5 for ages 13 to 18, and children under 12 are free. The top male and female runners overall and age group awards will be given along with ribbons to all participants 18 and under, and door prizes will also be included.

The ChildRUN is an event that raises money for The Children's Center's Sheila Johnson Child Care Scholarship for students. The event is also part of the 13th annual Route 20 Road Challenge Series 2012 that consists of 20 events, which is supported in part by The CHOBANI Shepherd's Gift Foundation.



The Children's Center at Morrisville State College, Inc., is a licensed and nationally accredited, not-for-profit Early Care and Learning Center offering quality care to children ages six weeks to 12 years old. The center is dedicated to promoting healthy eating and exercise as part of children's daily routines.
