Morrisville State College makes the grade in U.S. News & World Report

MORRISVILLE, NY—Morrisville State College has made the grade again. The college has been ranked No. 29 among the Best Regional Colleges in the North in the U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges 2018 issue, a publication renowned for its higher education rankings.



Morrisville State College is also at No. 13 in the Top Public Schools, Regional Colleges North in the 2018 Best Colleges rankings. 



The USNWR rankings are released annually and rely on data provided by universities to produce college rankings on a variety of factors reflecting academic quality. The rankings compare 1,800 public and private institutions across the country.



“Over the years, Morrisville State College has worked hard to achieve the recognition it enjoys today,” said President David E. Rogers. “Our distinctive approach to experiential learning through specialized facilities and opportunities offers our students the path necessary to become innovative leaders for an increasingly dynamic economy and global marketplace.”



Morrisville joins other SUNY institutions which also made the grade in the USNWR rankings.

Regional Universities and Regional Colleges are divided and ranked in four geographical groups: North, South, Midwest and West. Schools are ranked according to their performance across a set of widely accepted indicators of excellence. 



Morrisville State College’s curricula are enriched with applied learning and pave the way for opportunity at both the Morrisville and Norwich campuses. An action-oriented, interactive learning lab, the college is a national leader in technology and has been lauded for its exemplary, innovative and effective community service programs. 



The college was ranked among the Best Regional Colleges in the North by U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges 2018 issue and was also recognized in the Top Public Schools, Regional Colleges North in the 2018 Best Colleges rankings.
