The Tutoring Center organizes a series of workshops for students known as Student Success Seminars (SSS) during fall and spring semesters. These workshops explore topics that can be useful to any student regardless of their major or their courses. For instance, past SSS sessions have explored time management strategies, note-taking, test anxiety, study strategies, professionalism, stress management, and test-taking tips.
Approximately ten topics are covered each semester, with two sessions offered on each one. Usually, the SSS sessions occur at 1-1:50 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The classroom location for Fall 2023 SSS sessions is Butcher Library Instruction Room 110A.
