United University Professions (UUP) is the nation's largest higher education union, with more than 42,000 academic and professional faculty and retirees. UUP members work at 29 State University of New York campuses, plus System Administration, Empire State College, and SUNY’s public teaching hospitals and health science centers in Brooklyn, Long Island and Syracuse.
Facility
Charlton Hall, named for former Director Isaiah Charlton, is home to many programs as well as interactive classrooms and the college’s Instructional Technology Department.
More than 70 years old, the building underwent extensive renovations from 2015 to 2017. Now, students from various academic programs can collaborate in labs and classrooms that make possible cross-disciplinary interaction.
