LMS Transition Update
There is no monthly bulletin from SUNY. The cohort selection is still in a discussion led by the Educational Technology Committee. SUNY promises a team to help our faculty and staff to transit course content and organization content to Brightspace. We merely need to let the team know which content should be copied from Blackboard. After the transition, instructors may take a few minutes to tweak the course organization.
Brightspace Sandbox
It is highly recommended to faculty to play with the Brightspace Sandbox (click the link and register) in the Winter Break to have a glimpse of the system. Here is the guideline on Export Course from Blackboard and Import the Package to Brightspace.

Respondus and My Pearson Lab Back to Normal
The AWS issues were resolved on Dec 7, at 5 p.m. All Respondus LockDown Browser and MyPearson Lab services are working normally.
Due to the outage, please follow the Test Exceptions for Students guideline if you need to give your students more time or attempts in an exam.
Winter 2021 and Spring 2022 Blackboard Shells
Winter 2021 Blackboard shells have been available to students and instructors.
Spring 2022 Blackboard shells will be available to instructors after Dec 24, 2021, at 9:30 p.m. Students could access their Spring 2022 courses after January 10, at 9:30 p.m.
