SUNY Morrisville is gearing up for Mustang Weekend, Friday, Sept. 18 and Sat. Sept. 19, welcoming alumni, students, families and friends for two days of activities, athletics, food and fun.
The two-day celebration offers opportunities to reconnect with classmates and friends, explore campus, experience Morrisville’s hands-on programs and cheer on the Mustangs in various athletic competitions.
The weekend begins Friday with a Presidential Town Hall featuring ninth President Michelle Coach, from 2-3 p.m. Other Friday highlights include a tour of the Food Forest, the Athletic Wall of Fame induction ceremony, a men’s lacrosse alumni game and an evening of ice skating.
Saturday’s activities begin with a variety of hands-on and campus experiences, including an agricultural engineering equipment display, cider press demonstration and car show. The annual campus parade steps off at 11 a.m., followed by a community picnic, Horticulture Department farm stand and craft fair. A campus carnival runs from 12:30-4:30 p.m.
Mustang fans can cheer on the football team at noon as Morrisville takes on Union at Drake Field, men’s soccer faces Bard at 4:30 p.m., followed by women’s soccer against Pitt-Bradford at 7 p.m.
