SUNY Morrisville can be spotted throughout this year’s Great New York State Fair, which runs Wednesday, Aug. 24-Monday, Sept. 5.

Visit SUNY Morrisville at:

•    Horticulture and FFA buildings

•    Dairy Barn (daily), where Dairy Club students are also on night watch at the Birthing Center Wednesday, Aug. 24-Tuesday, Aug. 30

•    Coliseum, showing with its Belgian Hitch, Wednesday, Aug. 31- Sunday, Sept. 4 (SUNY Morrisville is the only college in North American to compete with a six-horse hitch!)

•    World of Horses in the Bartlett Barn

Learn more about the college at its FFA display and in the Horticulture Building, where faculty and staff will have information about the college’s exciting academic programs, answer questions and talk about the engaging, one-of-a-kind learning going on inside and outside of SUNY Morrisville classrooms.

Score some SUNY Morrisville swag in the Horticulture Building and see some cool stuff going on in our horticulture program, including a cannabis grow tent. Also see what we are doing with hemp and fiber.

Visit the Horticulture Building Thursday, Aug. 25-Saturday, Aug. 27 and Monday, Aug. 29-Wednesday, Aug. 31, where Nelson Farms will be selling New York State food products, including SUNY Morrisville-made items and will also have tastings.

See Curly, a 21-year-old Quarterhorse gelding and former national IHSA champion in the college’s Western program on Saturday, Aug. 27. He will be in the World of Horses in the Bartlett Barn, where the college is a presenting partner and featured exhibitor and will be giving away SUNY Morrisville swag.

Professors Tiffany Day, Julie Corey and equine students will be in the FFA building with horses in the college’s Western program in halter class, Western pleasure class and ranch riding events. Equine alumna, Abby Kubis-Culbertson, is serving as one of the judges during the event. Students will act as horse riders and or exhibitors for FFA, judging the classes.
