MORRISVILLE, N.Y. — SUNY Morrisville has been recognized again for its excellence with numerous listings in the 2022 U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges rankings, receiving high marks as a Best Regional College and Top Social Mobility College.
The annual report ranks colleges and universities nationwide according to their performance on diverse measures of academic quality. Regional universities and regional colleges are divided and ranked in four geographical groups: North, South, Midwest and West.
“We are proud of our ongoing recognition as a top-ranked regional college,” said SUNY Morrisville President David Rogers. “Our distinctive approach to experiential learning through specialized facilities and internship opportunities offer graduates a cutting-edge education to become innovative leaders.”
SUNY Morrisville is ranked No. 16 in Top Performers on Social Mobility for Regional Colleges North, an indicator that measures how well schools graduated students who received Pell Grants, and is No. 22 for Best Regional Colleges North, a slight rise from last year.
Additionally, SUNY Morrisville moved up the rankings in two other areas, ranking No. 10 in Best Colleges for Veterans Regional North and in the top 15 in Best Value Regional Colleges (North). The Best Value Schools rankings place significant emphasis on affordability for students who may be eligible for need-based aid.
