Corinne M. Tagliarina, Ph.D

My name is Corinne Tagliarina and I’m the Success Coach for the ACE program at SUNY Morrisville. I’ve been working in higher education in some form or another since 2005, starting when I was an undergraduate student at Bowling Green State University in Ohio. I studied English, Geology, and Political Science at BGSU and then went to the University of Connecticut to earn my M.A. and Ph.D. in Political Science. I gained a deep appreciation for agricultural schools at UConn (Cows! Horses!) and I love to learn about the fascinating things our students and faculty are doing here! I moved to Central New York in 2016 when my partner joined the Political Science department at Utica University, and I love living here and never want to leave.

Helping students find classes they love and learn as much as they can while in college is my passion. I firmly believe that gen ed classes can be interesting and rewarding and I love teaching introductory classes when I get a chance. I want every student to graduate on time with a degree that helps them accomplish their goals, so helping to start the ACE program here at Morrisville has been an absolute pleasure!

In my free time, I like to read, play board games, and make and listen to music. I also love to spend time with my family and our many many (8 currently) cats.
