The Morrisville State College men’s ice hockey team resumed play Saturday afternoon at the University of New England, and dropped the non-conference tilt 5-4 in overtime.
The loss drops the Mustangs to 3-8-1 overall.
John Doyle (New Lowell, ON) scored twice to lead the Morrisville State efforts, while teammate Ryan Marcuz (Richmond Hill, ON) added a goal and an assist. Jordan Carvalho (Brampton, ON) posted the other Mustang tally on the day.
Chris Azzano (Oshawa, ON) recorded the loss in net, turning away 29, including 12 in the third period.
The Morrisville State College women’s cross country team recorded a 7th place finish overall Saturday morning, compiling 180 scoring points at the SUNYIT Invite in Marcy.
