We have developed a plan for pooled saliva testing of employees, beginning next week. Each employee should participate twice as designated. Weeks for testing assignments are alphabetical by last name as follows:

  • A-D to be tested Sept. 29-30 and Oct. 27-28
  • E-K to be tested Oct. 6-7 and Nov. 3-4
  • L-Q to be tested Oct. 13-14 and Nov. 10-11
  • R-Z to be tested Oct. 20-21 and Nov. 17-18

Please put these dates on your calendar now, so you can plan to participate.

Testing is required for employees who are on campus more than once every 14 days. UUP has a MOU for testing employees it represents already in place. Units representing other employees are in the process of arranging similar agreements.

All employees are welcome to participate.

Testing for employees will be Tuesday mornings (10 a.m. to noon) and Wednesday afternoons (1 to 3 p.m.) in Hamilton Hall. Please consider spacing out your arrival, so we do not end up with large groups of employees at the beginning or end of a testing schedule.

Additional accommodations and arrangements specific to Norwich Campus, MAC and EOC will be shared soon.

All employees must preregister their testing profile to reduce wait times at testing sites. Please do this now, regardless of your test date or location. Completed profiles require permanent, local and and work addresses, including county, and insurance information, as well as insurance company information such as address, phone, subscriber ID and group number. The process can take some time, so it is important to do it before your scheduled testing date.

We also need your help staffing the collection clinics. Please sign up to help. There are low-risk roles for you to help each other get registered on the website and rack tubes with inert samples. Pick a role and date using Bookings.

Thank you for all you are doing to keep students, each other and our community safe! We are grateful for your willingness to be tested, and to help in the testing process. We cannot accomplish these goals without you!
