Easter Faafiti posted 14 points and 16 rebounds to lead host Gallaudet University to a 56-41 victory over visiting Morrisville State College Saturday afternoon in Washington, DC.
Morrisville State got off to a slow start, netting just 12 points in the first half to trail by 20 at the break.
In the second, Nijee Scott (Bronx, NY) tallied 11 of her total 17 points, but Morrisville State couldn't overcome the Bison deficit. LaQuiesha Jenkins (Syracuse, NY) added nine points in the loss.
Morrisville State drops to 2-10 overall, 2-8 in NEAC action and return to the court tomorrow at Penn State Harrisburg.
