Morrisville State men's soccer tie Wells College in double OT

Morrisville State College men's soccer team tied with Wells College after 110 minutes of intense action. The Mustangs' overall record now stands at 5-4-1in the season.



Twenty-four minutes into the first half, Andrew Brobbey (Bronx, NY) scored the only goal for the Mustangs, assisted by Brendan Nally (Burnt Hills, NY).



The battle between the teams continued throughout the game, with Mustangs ahead by one. Morrisville played a man down for the last 21 minutes of regulation play and with less than two minutes left in the game, John Iapoce (Boiceville, NY) assisted Cody Glassman (Thornhurst, PA) to put the Express on the board to tie the game one-one, with a man advantage.



After two sudden victory overtimes, the teams remained tied.



Mustangs' goalkeeper Shane Sullivan (Sherrill, NY) had five saves and one goal against in 110 minutes of play.



CJ Bayly (Waymart, PA) played 110 minutes of play in net, tallying five saves and one goal against for the Express.



The Morrisville State Mustangs return to the field in back-to-back games on Oct 9 and 10 to face Penn State Berks and Penn State Abington. The team will play Penn State Berks on Drake Field at 3 p.m. on Oct. 9. The Mustangs will play Penn State Abington on Drake Field at 2:30 p.m. on Oct. 10.
