VanDeusen joins Morrisville State basketball staff

Morrisville State College athletic director, Greg Carroll, and head coach, Joseph Smith, recently announced the addition of Matthew VanDeusen as the assistant coach of the men's basketball program for the 2010-2011 season.



The 2009 graduate of the University of New England with a bachelor's in political science, played four seasons for the men's basketball and golf programs. While at New England, he earned Commonwealth Coast Academic All-Conference honors and was a National Student-Athlete Award Winner. In 2009, he earned the UNE Athletics Senior Leadership Award.



Outside of athletics, VanDeusen also was an event management and intramural supervisor for the University's Athletic Department, facilitating all aspects of UNE's recreational sporting events while assisting the department with varsity athletic contest management.
