Welcome to SUNY Morrisville

"I am Jake Hartnett. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in renewable energy and an associate degree in renewable energy technology and now I am working as a Solar Project Manager at Nickels Energy Solutions, where I am responsible for designing and planning out residential solar projects from start to finish. SUNY Morrisville played a vital role in me obtaining this through an in-depth, hands-on curriculum, great internship opportunities and caring educators with real-world experience. For this position in particular, networking through classmates and industry partners of the program helped me get a foot in the door. My favorite part about my job is seeing a project go from start to finish based on plans and designs that I created to generate clean energy for homeowners."
