"I graduated with an associate degree in renewable energy technology. I am a wind turbine technician for RWE Renewables, working at Munnsville Wind Farm," a 34.5 MW project located in Madison County. RWE, one of the leading onshore wind companies, constructs, owns and operates some of the highest performing wind, solar and energy storage projects in the United States. He transferred from another college and ambitiously completed the A.A.S. in one year. He starts on June 3 getting flown to Texas for two weeks for training. "I knew I wanted to be a wind technician. It is a job in high-demand job. I knew after completing this program I would be in the job I wanted based on what I learned and skills and my real-world experience. The sky is the limit. RWE was a big pull for me. It was a great foot in the door. It is a relatively large company and the have international presence and that opens a lot of doors."
