Morrisville State College to host first summer showcase June 2

Considering attending Morrisville State College? Let one more visit help you decide.



The college will host a Summer Showcase on June 2 packed with everything there is to know about and see at the college.



Prospective students and their families are invited to partake in the showcase, which includes a variety of activities designed to introduce high school seniors and transfer students to Morrisville State College and assist them with their college search process.



The showcase, which begins with check-in at 9 a.m., will enable prospective students to explore the campus, visit with faculty, and get a close-up of what Morrisville State College has to offer.



Representatives from campus departments including financial aid, academic support services, student clubs and organizations, residence life and athletics will be available to meet with prospective students and parents in an effort to provide them with as much information as possible about life and education at Morrisville State College.



Academic welcome sessions will be held from 11 a.m. to 12:30 where prospective students and parents meet with faculty in specific majors and get a close-up look at the college's outstanding facilities. Participants are also invited to a barbecue lunch from noon to 1:30 p.m.



Campus tours will be held from noon to 3 p.m. beginning at the recreation center. Self-guided tours of residence halls will also take place during that time.
