Norwich Campus of Morrisville State College Hosts Alumnus, Powerful Speaking Enthusiast

Morrisville State College's Norwich campus will host a public speaking program by alumnus and well-known powerful speaker, Fred Ashforth, on Jan. 14, from 9 a.m. to noon in Roger Follett Hall.



Ashforth's program, How to Become a Powerful Presenter: So Your Audiences Will Listen, Remember and Act, intended for individuals in leadership, management, sales and marketing, development, human resources, public relations, research and development, will teach how to communicate more effectively, connect with audiences and generate income from speaking.



President of Ashforth Associates, a consulting firm established in 1991, Ashforth, of Waterville, N.Y., is an experienced salesman, speaker, trainer, writer and consultant. More than 13,000 people have attended and participated in his programs.



Ashforth graduated from the State University of New York College of Agriculture and Technology at Morrisville in 1972 with an associate degree. He also holds a master's degree from the State University of New York at Binghamton and a bachelor degree from the State University of New York at Cortland.
