The SUNY Morrisville Dairy Complex is a free-stall dairy facility which houses 160 milking cows and is used for teaching, demonstration, and student projects. It is equipped with an electronically-enhanced milking parlor and a student-managed computer system. The Teaching and Research Farm at SUNY Morrisville is used as an outdoor laboratory by students who take soil and crop science classes. Students have the opportunity to apply the knowledge they gain in their classes, as well as pursue research projects, interpret data and create presentations.

The SUNY Morrisville Equine Rehabilitation Center (ERC) showcases the college’s signature equine facilities. One of the few publicly accessible equine rehabilitation facilities in the Northeast, the ERC offers equipment and rehabilitation techniques to keep healthy horses conditioned, and to help injured equine athletes recover post-injury or post-surgery.

The Networking Lab or NetLab is used mostly by network administration students. It is equipped with three racks of equipment from vendors including Cisco, Dell, Palo Alto, and SonicWall. The lab includes switches, routers, firewalls, and storage for hands-on experience with today’s advanced equipment. This lab also houses VMware vCenter which is used for hands-on instruction of modern server-centric information technology systems.

The “Shoot, Don’t Shoot” simulator provides students with real-life scenarios and an inside look at a career in law enforcement. The simulator allows students to learn how to react in various law enforcement scenarios while remaining in a safe environment.

A 6,000-square-foot residential construction laboratory contains framing, plumbing and heating, masonry and electrification labs. Students also have access to a variety of finish-carpentry facilities and a computer lab with AutoCAD and LandCADD software.
