The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) has announced its Division III men's lacrosse weekly awards, naming Morrisville State College senior goalkeeper, Michael Hinchey (Lake Katrine, N.Y.) the defensive player of the week for the week ending April 1.
The Morrisville State College athletics department has named Nicole Duchene (Oneida, N.Y.) and Devin Maxwell (Culver City, Cali.) it's Mustang Athletes of the Week for the week ending April 1.
Duchene, freshman left fielder for the women's softball team, led the Mustangs to an 8-6 victory over Hamilton College last week, hitting 2-for-3 from the plate for two runs batted in, while crossing the plate twice. On the week, Duchene collected six hits in 12 at bats, totaled five runs and two RBI's, while posting five put outs.
The Morrisville State College men's lacrosse team used a huge fourth quarter offensive attack to defeat North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) opponent SUNY Cobleskill by a 15-3 decision Wednesday night in Morrisville.
The Mustangs improve to 5-3 on the season, 2-0 in conference play, while Cobleskill dropped to 1-6 overall, 1-2 in NEAC action.

He opened the week with an 8-7 victory over Vassar in which he turned away seven, including four in the final quarter, before making 15 stops in the 12-8 win over conference rival Keuka on Saturday.
