The Morrisville State College softball team battled to a double-header North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) split with rival Cazenovia, falling 6-1 in the first game before holding on for the 9-8 victory in the nightcap Wednesday afternoon in Morrisville. Morrisville State improves to 10-14 overall, 5-11 in conference play. Cazenovia dropped to 8-18 overall, 7-5 in NEAC action.
The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has announced its student-athletes of the week, naming Morrisville State College freshman midfielder, Shelby Wood (Duanesburg, N.Y.) the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) West Women’s Lacrosse Player of the Week for the week ending April 15.
