The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) has announced its Athletes of the Week for the period ending December 18, naming Morrisville State College's Nijah Townsend (Bronx, NY) and Brandon Hanks (Syracuse, NY) its women's and men's basketball players of the week.

Visiting Hamilton College women's basketball used a 19-4 run in the second half en route to a 62-35 non-conference victory over Morrisville State College Saturday afternoon in Morrisville. Morrisville State drops to 1-6 overall, while Hamilton pulls even at 4-4.

The Morrisville State College athletic department has named western equestrian team riders, Amanda Meyer (Equinunk, PA) and Paul Alexander (Truxton, NY) the Mustang Athletes of the Week for the week ending December 4. The Morrisville State College field hockey team will be collecting donations of non-perishable items to support the local food pantry from now until December 10. The local food pantry provides meal items to nearly 120 families each month, serving about 325 total individuals in the Morrisville-Eaton and Stockbridge Valley school districts.
