I joined the Campuswide Advising team in 2022 after spending over 15 years as a communication instructor across several institutions. My favorite thing about working in Higher Ed has always been helping students develop confidence in themselves and their abilities, and I love being able to do so much of that one-on-one in this role. An avid learner myself, I earned a Master’s degree in Communication and Rhetorical Studies with an emphasis on Critical/Cultural Studies from Syracuse University and have completed long-term training programs in college teaching and transformational coaching. In my free time, I get outdoors, create mixed media art, and study conversational American Sign Language.
