Computer skills are in demand in nearly every industry. The SUNY Morrisville Associate in Science (A.S.) degree program in computer information systems is the perfect place to start your education in the field and prepare yourself for successful transfer into a bachelor’s degree program in computer information systems or management information systems.

The curriculum, designed in accordance with guidelines suggested by the Education Foundation of the Association of Information Technology Professionals, teaches current languages such as C++ and Python. You also gain experience using the latest software packages for spreadsheets, graphics, database, communications and multimedia development.

You can enhance your college experience through a variety of related clubs and activities. SUNY Morrisville Esports (MES) creates a community for interested gamers through education, sportsmanship, competitive multiplayer gaming and attendance at gaming-related events. 

The college is one of the first to annually host Global Game Jam® (GGJ), the world’s largest on-site game creation event which gives teams of artists, hobbyists, programmers and gamers throughout the world a chance to brainstorm, innovate, collaborate and develop new ideas for game design over the course of 48 hours.
