The Morrisville State College men's basketball team picked up their first North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) win of the 2010 season, topping visiting Keuka College 51-40 Wednesday night in Morrisville. Morrisville State improves to 2-3 overall, 1-1 in conference action, while Keuka drops to 0-5. Morrisville State went on an eight point run at the end of the first half to take the 27-19 lead into the break, despite shooting just 27.8 percent from the floor in the first twenty.
The Empire Collegiate Wrestling Conference (ECWC) has named Morrisville State College junior, Wheeler Brunschmid (Sherburne, NY) the Wrestler of the Week for the period covering November 15 – 28.

The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) released its Players of the Week for the week ending November 21, naming Morrisville State College freshman goaltender, Colin Breen (Waterloo, ONT) the Ice Hockey Rookie of the Week. Breen made his first collegiate start between the pipes on Friday against SUNY Cortland, earning the victory following a 43 save night. In the 6-3 decision, he turned back shots at a 93.5 percent clip for Morrisville State's fourth win in five games.
Visiting No. 2 nationally ranked SUNY Oswego remained undefeated in conference action Saturday night, posting a 4-2 State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) hockey victory over host Morrisville State College in Morrisville.

Morrisville State College senior field hockey forward, Lauren Bordonaro (North Tonawanda, NY/Starpoint) has been named to the 2010 Longstreth/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III All-North Atlantic Region Second Team, as announced by the NFHCA on Thursday. Bordonaro led the team in scoring for the second straight season, netting 12 goals and assisting nine others, for 33 points. She finished her career ranked second in all-time points scored (79), second in career goals scored (33) and first in assists recorded (15).
The New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) recently announced its 2010 Football All-Conference selections, naming five Morrisville State College student-athletes to its teams.
Morrisville State College men's ice hockey posted three scores in the final period to net a 6-3 State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) victory over rival SUNY Cortland Friday night in Morrisville.   Cortland was first to strike, netting a Red Dragon goal just 1:21 into the first as Ryan Durocher put one past Morrisville State netminder, Colin Breen (Waterloo, ONT), for the only Red Dragon lead of the contest.
