The Mustangs are now 5-11 overall and 4-5 in Northeastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) play, while Wells College stands at 5-11 and 3-5 in NEAC play.

The Morrisville State College men's basketball posted their sixth straight conference win Wednesday night, netting a 73-54 North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) victory over visiting Wells College in Morrisville. Morrisville State improves to 10-7 overall, and remains undefeated in conference play at 7-0. Wells drops to 7-11 overall, 4-4 in NEAC action.

The Morrisville State College athletic department has named women's basketball forward Nijah Townsend (Bronx, N.Y.) and ice hockey defender Daniel Morello (Vaughan, Ont.) the Mustang Athletes of the Week for the week ending January 22.

The Mustangs dropped to 9-7 overall and are still undefeated in Northeastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) play at 6-0, while Keystone stands at 14-2.

Visiting Morrisville State College women's basketball team notched their third straight victory Saturday afternoon, topping Penn State Berks 57-51 in North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) action in Reading. Morrisville State improves to 5-10 overall, and pulls even at 4-4 in conference play, while Berks dropped to 3-11, 2-6 in the NEAC.

Sophomore defenseman, James Jarvis (Pickering, Ont.) posted the lone tally for visiting Morrisville State College men's hockey as they dropped a 3-1 State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) decision to third nationally ranked Plattsburgh Saturday night in Plattsburgh. Morrisville State fell to 3-14-1 overall, 2-7-1 in conference play, while Plattsburgh improved to 12-2-4, 7-1-1 in the SUNYAC.

Sophomore Mickey Davis (Jamesville, NY) netted a team high 20 points to lead visiting Morrisville State College to a 78-68 North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) action Saturday afternoon over host Penn State Berks in Reading. The Morrisville State College men's ice hockey team scored three unanswered goals in the final period as they posted a 5-3 State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) victory over host SUNY Potsdam Friday night in Potsdam. Morrisville State improves to 3-13-1 overall, 2-6-1 in SUNYAC play, while Potsdam drops to 6-9-2, 4-5 in conference action.

Determined to make a difference on the ice and in the community, the Morrisville State College men's ice hockey program will be hosting a Multiple Sclerosis Charity Game on Saturday, February 4 against conference rival SUNY Oswego.

Elmira College tallied four unanswered goals in the second period to claim the 4-1 victory over Morrisville State College hockey Saturday evening in the consolation round of the Northfield Savings Bank Tournament held at Norwich University in Northfield, Vermont. Morrisville State finished fourth in the tournament, and dropped to a 2-11-1 overall record. Elmira improved to 8-5-1.
