Visiting Morrisville State College men’s basketball erased an eight point second half deficit using a game changing run to top host Gallaudet University 75-56 in North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) action. The Mustangs post their 12th straight victory to improve to 15-4 overall, remaining atop the NEAC with a 9-1 conference record. Gallaudet, who was a threat to Morrisville State through 24 minutes of play, drops to 9-13 overall, 5-6 in conference play.
The Morrisville State College athletics department has named Jordan Prior (Cortland, N.Y.) and Michael Markowitz (Staten Island, N.Y.) it’s Mustang Co-Athletes of the Week for the week ending January 27.

The Mustangs drop to 1-18 overall, 1-10 in conference play. Keuka remains atop the conference with an 11-1 NEAC record, improving to a 14-2 overall mark.

Morrisville State remains atop the NEAC with an 8-1 overall record, improving to a 14-4 overall mark. Keuka drops to 9-10 overall, 7-4 in conference action.
The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) as announced its weekly hockey award winners, naming Morrisville State’s Christopher Azzano (Oshawa, Ontario) the Goalie of the Week and Michael Markowitz (Staten Island, N.Y.) the Rookie of the Week.

The NEAC North Division leader improves to 13-4 overall, 7-1 in conference action, while Cazenovia drops to 4-13, 1-8 in NEAC play.
Host Morrisville State scored twice in the second period to claim the 3-1 State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) victory over visiting Buffalo State. The Mustangs improve to 3-15-2 overall, 3-8 in the SUNYAC, while the Bengals post a 9-9-2 overall record (4-6-1 in conference play). Despite being outshot 11 to 5 in the first period, the Mustangs were the only team to find the back of the net when Michael Markowitz (Staten Island, N.Y.) placed a shot past Bengals goalkeeper Kevin Carr.
Morrisville State College students will be among those participating in this year's annual Winter Fest Feb. 9. Indoor games, sledding, face painting, carnival games, an indoor slide and caricatures are among the activities planned during the annual event, which takes place from 2 to 7 p.m. at the Morrisville-Eaton Elementary School located on Eaton Street. Events are free and open to the public.
